Queen of the May

This is the song we sang in school, both primary and secondary when we crowned the statue of the virgin Mary in the commons. I don't quite remember the dirge-like cadence, though. Ours was more raucous. That's what you get with 800 teenagers outside on a spring day in the sunshine!
