Middle Name Meme

2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name or your mother's maiden name).

OK, here goes:
I first broke the rules because I don't have a middle name and I used my confirmation name. I use the first letter as my middle name initial-hey, since I only use the initial, maybe I can just do the initial-no that would really be cheating!
This is hard!

Marie is my middle name because I was 7 when I was confirmed and was hedging my bets on a career as a nun and thought that to be a nun you had to have Mary or Marie in your name to make the cut. Smart thinking for a 7 year old already thinking about career choices, I think. I would never would have made it wearing the habits of that day. Imagine having a hot flash in all that black fabric with no AC!

Air conditioning is essential for me in the summer. Actually in the winter, too as my median office temp. is 80! Actually my office has no air of any kind. I'm getting a new office within the next couple of months, but presently I'm dressing in layers( I'm currently going down to my bra, just kidding) with two fans going. And I'm a senior-I'm supposed to have a good office!

Rice is one of my favorite starches. It's one of the few foods I can actually cook perfectly. I also love Rice pudding. The Italian kind my mother made was a favorite Lenten food of my childhood-solid, cut in cubes with raisins and Cinnamon and a layer of custard on top, yum.

Iced Coffee and Arizona Stress Tea are my beverages of choice year round. Unfortunately they've discontinued the Tea, so I had buy out the neighborhood.

 
I'm a real sucker for electronics and by this I mean computer stuff. A new 3 story Apple story-I heart Apples- just went up about 5 blocks away from my apartment and I have a love hate relationship with the place because I want everything especially an iphone-have I said this before. I'm waiting for the contract of my current cell phone to expire.
