My office is being recarpeted and refurnished and I'm in a borrowed office, so I'm blogging from work. Exile's Return sent me this meme.

1 Tomorrow is really my birthday! July 25th.
2.I played the flute in the Ursuline High School Band
3 My first job was when I was 13 y/o as a page in the Girard,OH Free Library. (earned .45 cents per hour.)
4. I'm on my 4rd career. Dropping a few transions.
5. I was once a professional pupeteer. I played Dino the dinosaur as a live puppet and almost got pulled into the audienceby my tail ( by a child.)
6. I worked in professional theater as a scenic designer while I was in college and moved to New York to study scenic painting.
7. I read about a lot of books a year and and stopped posting reviews on Goodreads when I couldn't keep up.

Happy birthday, my fellow Leo! I did my first library page job at 12, but didn't get paid (school volunteering). My first job was in the Post Nursery in Stuttgart, Germany, for 30 cents an hour -- 20 cents less than private babysitting but I was guaranteed 10 hours a week. That would buy 2 record albums at the PX!
